Michael’s 40th Birthday

A milestone birthday invitation inspired by history and certain TV show.

Combining Interests

Krystal and I went through a couple of ideas for Michael’s 40th Birthday Invitations before we finally landed on handmade paper and wax seals. She shared with me Michael’s passion for history which is what brought me to the idea of using handmade paper and wax seals, both just scream history to me! I think wax seals are timeless and I LOVE using them.

Michael also loves the show Letterkenny (as do I!) and Krystal asked me if we could incorporate that somehow. After exchanging some ideas, I finally landed on using two phrases from the show: I suggest you let that marinate and pitter-patter, let’s get at ‘er. We thought these would be fun references for anyone familiar with the show, but if guests weren’t familiar, they wouldn’t be missing anything crucial.
